We are here to talk music.

There will be times when we will discuss a new CD that I have picked up.

Maybe I will just rant about the state of the music industry.

The number one rule of thumb is I will only talk about music.  

All of my other discussions I will leave for my other blog.  

I have been listening to music all of my life.

As a small child I remember tugging 

on my mother's apron asking her if we could listen to records.  

I was three years old at the time.  

She always said yes as soon as she finished her housework.

I remember getting my first stereo 

when I was six years old.  

It was one my fondest Christmas presents.  

And of course 

I remember getting my first Beatles record 

(and so many great albums after that). 

My love for music continued all through 

high school, 

college 

and into adult life.  

My wife understands my obsession 

and at times we even look for music together.

I am now 56 years old and my music buying continues.  

In fact my latest acquisition occurred 

yesterday 

in honor of my 20th wedding anniversary. 

What do I listen to?  

I enjoy many different styles of music.  

My main two are classic rock and Christian rock.  

But I enjoy many other styles also 

(jazz, oldies, and some country among other genres).
